The good news? My friend Karen K. found a land record between an Early and a Kirtley. Both are in my lineage.
More good news? I had someone offer me a better picture of my great-great grandmother's headstone for her find-a-grave memorial. You can visit it here.
The bad news? In the photo you can see that the headstone next to hers, her mother's - Barbara Garland Graves Chinn - has toppled and split.
